London Run for Ovarian Cancer

May 10

Springbank Park, London, Ontario

Come run or walk on Mother’s Day and be the reason we beat our record raised of $236,000! Join Hilary & Mark at Springbank Park for the London Run for Ovarian Cancer.

Thanks to runners, walkers, volunteers and sponsors every year, we raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer research.

Participants who care and our wonderful corporate sponsors keep us on track to raise $250,000 a year. The money goes to pay for local research at London Health Sciences Centre.

Since 2006, money raised has been dedicated to research right here in London, focused on early detection and to discovering a cure for ovarian cancer. The money goes directly toward the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Program.

The Run for Ovarian Cancer started simply with a group of fitness friends and a discussion over coffee in September 2002. Ann Crowley was still reeling from her diagnosis of ovarian cancer when she became committed to raising awareness about this devastating disease.

The first event in 2003 was far more than a resounding financial success. It was a personal triumph for Ann Crowley and the cancer survivors who raised over $85,000.

Help continue Ann’s legacy. See you on May 10!
