Becoming a parent for the first time can be an overwhelming experience and even more so when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Matt Hutcheson from our EASY 101.3 newsroom  and his wife Becca  welcomed baby Cedric Paul Hutcheson into the world June 11, 2019 around 4pm a month and a half before his due date.  Although baby C is a pretty healthy little dude, at 4.05 lbs he was having some trouble with tummy and his oxygen levels so he’s been enjoying an extended hotel stay in the hospital until he can get a bit older and stronger.

Matt was filling in for Mark on the morning show with Hilary this week and shared what it feels like to be a new dad,  how he and wife Becca are managing and also shared an update on baby Cedric’s progress.
