If you’ve purchased compliments brand chicken strips before May 1st, you may want to consider throwing them out. They are being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. The Public Health Agency of Canada says the product is a source of human illness.
The affected product was sold nationally until May 1st in 907 gram packages with a best before date of November 24th, 2019. Officials say if you have them, throw them out or return them to the store they were purchased at.
