Four men are in custody after a brazen daylight robbery at a London jewelry store Tuesday evening.

According to police, around 6:45, two masked men got out of a car that pulled up in front of Gordons Gold on Hyde Park Road. They directed employees to get on the floor then smashed display cases with a sledge hammer and removed a significant number of items.

Police arrived within minutes and followed the vehicle to a property on Oneida First Nation Territory.

The OPP, Oneida Nation of the Thames Police and Strathroy-Caradoc Police assisted London officers in arresting the 4 suspects.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
