The Middlesex London Health Unit says there has been an increase in non-travel related Hepatitis A cases over the last few months.

So far in 2018, there have been 18 cases of Hep A, and 15 of those turned up in October.

The outbreak has mostly been found in homeless Londoners or those who suffer from addiction issues.

The Health Unit is asking healthcare providers to watch for signs and provide the Hepatitis A vaccine for at risk patients.
