A major employer in the Owen Sound area is moving operations south.
Tenneco, an auto-parts manufacturer, says it will begin shutting down its plant in Owen Sound this year, fully closing the facility by 2020.
The move will cost around 500 people their jobs.
The company is citing changing markets and capacity requirements for the decision.
The company is pledging to assist workers in their transition.
