Dignitaries were on-hand today at the ribbon cutting ceremony at new CO2 recovery plant in Aylmer.
Air Liquide, a world leader in industrial gases has invested $30-million in the facility which will produce, test, package and label food and premium grade carbon dioxide gas for the food industry.
The plant will process waste CO2 from ethanol producers and covert it to liquefied gas.
The company recently opened a sister facility in Johnstown in eastern Ontario.
