Ballot counting didn’t begin until 10pm last night as London was the only municipality to go ahead with the ranked ballot system in last nights municipal election.

Some unofficial first round results have come in, but that doesn’t include the announcement of the mayor. Second round counting doesn’t begin until 10a.m. today.

Here’s what we know so far:

Ward 1: Michael van Holst (incumbent)

Ward 2: Shawn Lewis

Ward 3: Mo Salih (incumbent)

Ward 4: Jesse Helmer (incumbent)

Ward 6: Phil Squire (incumbent)

Ward 7: Josh Morgan (incumbent)

Ward 10: Paul Van Meerbergen

Ward 11: Stephen Turner (incumbent)

Mayoral candidate Ed Holder is in the lead with 33,042 votes after the first round, with Paul Paolatto seeing 21,456 votes and Paul Cheng trailing behind with 19,161 of the votes.
