Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe is reporting an outbreak of antibiotic resistant bug.
The hospital says the outbreak of CPE bacteria is contained to the 4B area of the hospital.
Visitor restrictions are in place on 4B.
Affected patients have been moved into isolation.
Hospital staff are undertaking enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures and any unnecessary activities on 4B have been cancelled.
The hospital is in contact with family members of affected patients.
