The Ministry of the Environment along with London City Staff are working to clean-up a fuel spill that has reached the Thames River.
The City says diesel fuel, spilled from a garbage truck, entered the storm sewer system and a small amount has made its way to the river.
Containment crews are on scene, southeast of Blackfriars Bridge and the spill is said to be contained.
There is no risk to the public according to the City.
