London’s municipal elections kick off today, with advanced polls being set up throughout the Forest City.

Advance polls will take place October 4th, 6th, and the 9th-13th.

In order to vote, all you need to do is bring your identification. It is not necessary to bring your voter notification card, but it does make the process go by much faster.

This year, London is the first municipality to roll out “ranked choice voting”, which means that Londoners have a chance to rank their first choice, second choice, and third choice when casting their ballot.

Here’s when you can vote:

Thursday October 4th:

  • Western, UCC Building, 2nd Floor
  • Fanshawe College (London Campus), Student Centre, Alumni Lounge

 

Saturday October 6th:

  • City Hall
  • Northland Mall, White Oaks Mall, Westmount Mall
  • East London Library, Masonville Library, Sherwood Forest, Cherryhill Library

 

Tuesday October 9th:

  • City Hall

Wednesday October 10th:

  • City Hall

 

Thursday October 11th:

  • City Hall
  • Northland Mall, White Oaks Mall, Westmount Mall
  • East London Library, Masonville Library, Sherwood Forest, Cherryhill Library
  • London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria and University Hospital

Friday October 12th:

Saturday October 13th:
