After cries of outrage, the federal government will be reviewing the decision of the movement of the woman convicted of the murder, kidnapping and rape of eight year old Tori Stafford.

Earlier this week, media learned that Terri-Lynn McClintic was moved to a healing lodge in Saskatchewan.

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale announced he has asked the Commissioner of Correctional Service to review the decision to make sure it was done in accordance to the policy.

The family and friends of Tori Stafford are planning on protesting outside parliament November 2nd.

Stafford was lured away from her school in Woodstock in 2009 and her body was eventually found buried in a farm field 100kms from where she was taken.

McClintic pleaded guilty to Stafford’s death in 2010.
