A new safety awareness project in London will see warning signs put up at potentially dangerous railway crossings.
The City is partnering with HUB Surface Systems and Operation Life Saver through the “Look. Listen. Live. Community Safety Partnership Program.”
Operation Life Saver will work with the community to identity troublesome crossings and provide education to the public on the safe ways to cross a railway.
The City will work to improve those crossings by rehabilitating sidewalks, improving markings and signage and improving sight-lines.
